North Texas Newborn Photos

If ever there is a fleeting season to get photos, it is the newborn stage! You wait a week or two, then four, then you’ve missed your opportunity. But if you can motivate yourself to make them happen, they are such special pictures to have and definitely worth the effort. We were very fortunate to have wonderful photographers for our first two babies (and I still treasure those pictures), but the third was another story. It was a pretty miserable experience and the photos were not great, and I’m still disappointed that I don’t have better pictures. With this feeling in mind, even though I don’t often do newborn photos, when a friend asked if I could take pictures of her new baby of course I said yes!

Ember is one of those babies that really make you want a baby of your own (if you are so inclined to have those inklings – my last baby has cured me of those feelings 😆). She was sweet and sleepy and adorable with a full head of hair. So just be forewarned – the following pictures may cause some baby fever, so continue scrolling at your own risk. 😜

New babies can also lead to a change in housing – moving to a bigger house or closer to family. If that is the case for you, I am a licensed realtor in North Texas and would be happy to help you!
