Something New!

As many of you know, my husband and I have spent the last few years renovating houses. It has been interesting for sure, and you can follow along with some of the projects on our Bells and Whistles facebook page. To complement that endeavor, I recently decided to get my real estate agent’s license. (Well, it has actually been quite some time since I decided to do it – it has only been recently that I finally made it happen.) Going through the experience of being a buyer and a seller several times has taught me a lot about moving real estate, and I would love to use that experience to help people who are looking to buy or sell a house!

The first realtor we ever used was a very nice lady (who was willing to work with us when we were cheapo-deapo buyers, so I am thankful for that and don’t want to sound overly critical), but when we sold our house she walked around taking photos with her flip phone. When we saw the listing showcasing low-quality photos of a closet and other random aspects of the house, we quickly took our own photos and did our own write-up for her to use and were much happier with the appearance of the listing. My goal to ensure my buyers and sellers have a much better experience than that! Buying and selling real estate is a significant financial decision for most people – it’s important to work with someone you trust and who will consider your interests as they would their own. Please let me know if you or someone you know is considering buying or selling in North Texas!

This is so exciting! I will keep you in mind for us and mention you to others when anyone talks about wanting to buy or sell a house! Congratulations! 👏 Also, it drives me bananas as well to see poor quality and random photos of a home for sale. Like, thanks for the random closet and uninspiring window pics, but can I at least see the master bedroom and kitchen too? 😂

Thank you so much!! And yes!! This one was a standard closet with no reference to where it even was in the home. “Buy this home! It comes with at least one unimpressive closet!!” Some real estate photos are so well done, and then some are just….not.
